So we took possession of Mark's new house on Friday. It's pretty nice, and very clean. I helped do some landscape maintenance today. I hate working inside. Mark is just the opposite. Anyway, it's a 3 bedroom bungalow with a fairly decent kitchen and a basement. I think the coolest project will be finishing the basement and turning it in to a game/entertainment/beer pong room. The house in general is in serious need of some redecorating. One of the bedrooms is lime green, and the other is peach. Mark generally has pretty good taste about things like this so when it's all said and done I think it will look pretty good. One huge problem: there's a giant tree in the back, and we think it's an ash. We're going to wait until spring to see what happens, but it will probably be coming out at a cost of $800-$1200. Ouch. It's a cool little place, and I think that he'll throw some memorable PP's (porch parties, for the uninitiated).
