Microsoft Source Code Leaked Over Internet: Since I'm into blogging news stories lately... A quote from the article. "Access to the source code could allow hackers to exploit the operating system and attack machines running Windows, which is used on hundreds of millions of computers worldwide." I hate the news. If this quote was true, then all open source open operating systems would be incredibly insecure. So how is it that OpenBSD is arguably the most secure operating system available? The reason that this quote appears in the article is because Microsoft most likely told the reporter that open source code is insecure as sort of a cheap shot to the open source community and especially Linux.
